The Artist’s Town of Kirkcudbright with it’s harbour, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and calendar of events is 8 miles away, as is the picturesque village of Gatehouse of Fleet. The Galloway mountains and forests are just a few miles inland offering great walking, mountain bike trails and watersports at Loch Ken.
